TCS has its humble origins in professional motion picture service + repair. When T. Carl Schietinger opened up shop in New York City of 1978, his resources :: collimator, machine shop, & technical experience :: were oriented to equipment maintenance and repair. Today we proudly continue the TCS tradition of service and technical expertise by supporting the professional film and video industry through our rental and sales departments. We know equipment failure can occur during regular use, from old age or design problems. TCS Service + Repair is committed to minimizing your downtime and repair expenses.

TCS is an authorized service + repair center for cameras, magazines, lenses, tripods and matte boxes from Angenieux, Arriflex, Bolex, Chrosziel Moviecam, and Sachtler. We have extensive experience diagnosing and repairing thousands of defective or malfunctioning products from other leading manufacturers as well. TCS warranties the service performed for 30 days and covers the repaired elements. On special requests, small customized design modifications can be made at our New York facility. We are also there to consult with you regarding updating and finding new equipment.
